1. Approve/Amend Minutes: Colin moved, Greg 2nd to approve with no changes; unanimous
2. Approve/Amend Agenda: Michele moved, Colin 2nd to approve with no changes; unanimous
Continued Business:
1. Brochure update
a. Reviewed, minor updates that Carolyn will make and then have them printed. New QR code
is trackable.
2. Community Fair
a. Set for Sunday, 8/6/2023 from 10 — 3 pm @ Edmonds Woodway HS. Goal is recruitment
of new Commissioners. Colin, Samantha, Yuri, and Karyn will man the booth. Yuri
provided options for giveaways. Commission decided on chopsticks and small candies.
Yuri will purchase up to approved amount of $100. Carolyn will drop supplies and help
set-up and take down.
3. Hekinan visit
a. Katy & Carolyn provided draft itinerary for review. Date of visit is confirmed for arrival
on Monday, 10/30 and departure on Saturday, 11/4. Expecting 12 delegates from
Hekinan. Karyn to work with Carolyn on reception invite list. Had a quote for train trip to
Bellingham of $125. Discussed logistics of the visit.
New Business:
1. PorchFest in Edmonds is scheduled for Saturday, 9/6 and is another event we could possibly set-
up at. Carolyn will check on time.
2. Instagram account discussion. Carolyn will work with Samantha on accessing the account so we
can begin posting again.
