Public Hearings: a. FILE NO. CDC-03-193: Public hearing to consider a
(Public participation is welcome) Comprehensive Plan change request by A.D. Shapiro
Architects for Hans Lammersdorf, to change the
Comprehensive Plan designation on the area north and south
of Edmonds Way from 232nd Street SW west to 97th Avenue W
from Single Family - Small Lot, Multi Family - High Density and
Neighborhood Commercial to Edmonds Way Corridor.
b. FILE NO. CDC-03-194/R-03-195: Public hearing to consider a
Comprehensive Plan change request by Shaun Leiser, Gaston
Enterprises, LLC, to change the Comprehensive Plan
designation at 9510, 9512, 9516, 9520, 9524, 9530 (vacant) and
9614 (PUD Substation) Edmonds Way from Single Family - Small
Lot to Multi Family - High Density and a concurrent rezone
request to rezone the same site from Single -Family Residential
(RS-8) to Multiple Residential (RM-1.5).
c. FILE NO. CDC-04-23: • Proposed amendments intended to
incorporate the findings of the Highway 99 Enhancement
Project Report and Market Assessment into the Land Use
Element of the Comprehensive Plan.
d. FILE NO. CDC-04-23: • Proposed changes to the
Comprehensive Plan Map and text modifying single family
plan designations and compatible zoning descriptions. The
changes would change some existing "large lot" single family
designations to a higher -density designation to provide
consistency between the City's plan and the Growth
Management Act requirements for urban densities of at least
four (4) dwelling units per acre in areas not impacted by
critical areas. Areas being considered for these changes
include the following:
- An RS-12 zoned area northwest of Sherwood Elementary lying
along SR-104;
- An extensive RS-12 zoned area lying generally south of
Southwest County Park and east of 94th Ave W extending
south to 196th ST SW;
- An RS-12 zoned area lying generally between 8th Ave S and
98th Ave W from Pine street to 220th ST SW.
