1. Call to order
Mr. Taylor called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
2. Approve agenda.
The Agenda was approved unanimously.
3. New Information
Mr. Taylor updated the salary commission on the email distribution issues and that they have been
corrected.
Mr. Taylor confirmed the public hearings are scheduled prior to the Council Meeting.
Mr. Taylor will reach out to Jessica to confirm public comments can be made via Zoom to increase
participation and accessibility at the public hearings.
4. Finalize draft letter.
Mr. Taylor made a motion to adopt the city council's standing rules and regulations for conduct at
public hearings.
Motion approved unanimously.
Salary commissioners viewed and discussed inflation information received and how it relates to CPI
and impact on salaries.
Commission read through final draft letter. Time was spent clarifying context for the decisions of
the salary commission. Mr. Taylor will make grammatical, spelling, and clarification adjustments
before posting the final draft document.
S. Next Steps and Action Items
Mr. Taylor will make corrections to the letter and will distribute it to Director Neill Hoyson and
salary commissioners for review and subsequently post onto the city website.
