This letter is to confirm, that the Initial Energy Credits proposed for the room addition project
under permit BLD2022-0946 have been revised from a combination of U.24 windows,
Ductless dryer, and Energy Star Water heater for a total of 1.5 credit and replaced with a
High Efficiency Inverter Driven Split Ductless Mitsubishi Cooling and Heating Heat pump
system (MSZ-HM09NA for the 1.5) needed credits and meeting Efficiency requirement of
table C403.3.2 of the 2018 WSEC-Commercial, as referenced in Table R406.2 in 2018 WSEC-
Residential.
