Call to Order:
Tracy called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.

Approval of Minutes: August 17, 2023 regular board meeting minutes unanimously approved.
Chair Report:
• Tracy reviewed the agenda.
Staff/Administrative Report for the cemetery numbers:
• The board members discussed the sales & burials report.
• Financial Reports - None
Sales Report - Sales and Services report as of August 31, 2023.

• Board Monument: Updating is in process.
• East Gate (on 100th): A motion was made, seconded, and passed to put the widening of the east gate on
the city's comprehensive plan for 2024-2025. Cara will discuss this with Angie.
• Advertising update: The board discussed the new ads for the Beacon and My Edmonds News.
• Porch Fest: Ashley reported.
New Business:
• Other New Business: Cara asked if Richard and Ashley will be staying on the board for a second term, as
their current terms will end at the end of 2023. They both will be remaining on the board.
• VFW Essay Contest: The VFW announced that they will have the essay contest for next year. The board
will keep in touch with them.
• Walk Back In Time 2024: The board members will come to the October 2023 board meeting with ideas
for next year's event.

Next Meeting: Our next regular board meeting will be in person Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Frances
Anderson Center.
