I. ROLL CALL & ABSENCES
Mara moved to call the meeting to order at 6:03 PM.
Lucy read the land acknowledgment statement.
II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA & MEETING MINUTES
Mara made a motion to approve this week's agenda; no alterations. Seconded by Joanna and
Lucy. The motion passed unanimously.

V. DEIA (DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION, AND ACCESSIBILITY) COMMISSION MEETINGS
The youth commissioners should volunteer to attend DEIA meeting (zoom or in -person)
Lucy and Charlie will attend meeting
VI. LOGO WORK AND VOTING
We held a vote on the logo
Mara motioned to approve our new logo; seconded by Charlie. The motion passed unanimously.
VI I. INTRODUCTION INSTAGRAM POST: COMMENTS/QUESTIONS
Each youth commissioner needs to complete their slides for the Instagram post.
VIII. BRAINSTORM NEW INSTAGRAM POST IDEAS
Instagram polls to discuss topics such as red light cameras to engage with youth
Share our new logo on Instagram to officially announce our new logo
Post about the Halloween event taking place in downtown Edmonds, safety reminders for going
out at night, and wish people happy Halloween
Project Ideas: Ivy pull, assist elderly, interview people of older generation at the waterfront
center - assign someone to work on draft (Lucy and Mara)
