CALL TO ORDER: Ashley called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Melissa Johnson, Joan Longstaff, Richard Marin,
Kerry Radley, Lin Russell
STAFF PRESENT: Cara Brown
GUESTS PRESENT: None
MEMBERS ABSENT: Tracy Little (excused absence.)
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of January 2024 were approved.
CHAIR REPORT: Cara handed out an agenda and corrections to format were

The Board was giving a printed copy of the City of Edmonds Code of Ethics for
their personal files.
STAFF/ADMINISTRATION REPORT: The Cemetery Board's contact information
Was reviewed and updated.

OLD BUSINESS:
Memorial Day Event: Melissa led the discussion regarding plans for the
Memorial Day Program. The idea of honoring past VFW members who have
recently passed with a bell ringing ceremony was discussed. Richard
suggested we include a link to Greg Copeland's video in the press release for
Memorial Day.
NEW BUSINESS/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Using My Edmonds News to advertise was talked about and our advertising
plan will be discussed next month.
ADJUOURMENT: Meeting adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
