Resolution 1274No: 1274 &solution of the Edmonds City CouncifCommending MM9=1NA .111 TI, TIVII, I W1111110 Whereas, Ak spfinger, a student at Edmonds-Woodway High School, was selected to serve as a Stude Representative of the Edmonds City Council; and i Whereas, AlkcSprinJar r, served as a student member of the City Council for the fall, winter, and spring terms starting in September 2011 and ending in May 2012; and Whereas, while carrying a full load at school including 1113 Standard and IB higher Level Calculus, Honors Physics, 19 Advanced Physics, Honors General Chemistry, IB organic Chemistry, and Honors Biology, he also participated in a prolific number of sports and community services activities. Alex did all this while always coming to the Council meetings fully prepared and asking very thought -provoking questions of the Council; and Whereas, when adding a comment to a Council discussion, Alex did it with polish and grace. He will always be remembered for his cordial attitude, extraordinarily high standards, and consummate work ethic. And, last but not least, for his marvelous smile! Now, Therefore, Oe it Resoked, that flkxSpringer be congratulated for his exceptional participation in city government in Edmonds during his term as Student Representative while participating in an extensive variety of school and other activities, and (Be it Furtfier Resolved that the City Council and the Mayor hereby extend their best wishes to _Afi�� in his future endeavors and express the hope that he will continue to contribute his vast talents to the democratic process of government in the City of Edmonds and elsewhere.
