`Whereas, Nil- ary Schei6ert, a student at Edmonds-Woodway High School, was selected to serve as a Student
Representative of the Edmonds City Council; and
141hereas, Hi&ry Schei6ert, served as student member of the Cit -Council from September 4, 2007 through June
10, 2008; and
`Gl*ereas, during her tenure as/ tudent Representative, ki66,Schei6ert demonstrated exceptional interest in the
work of the body while at the same time participating in a host of activities as a student of Edmonds-
Woodway High School including ASB, Play Production, Teen Council, Steering Committee (student
representative) and Environmental Club. .She was also involved in the `Junior Statesmen Symposium on
Leadership and [Politics, Invisible/Ctiildreri; Resolve --Uganda, International Rescue Committee, as a
breakfast cook for_ROOTS Young Adult;Shefter;-arid a section leader for the Seattle Children's Chorus.
This remarkable young lady was the first�to volunteer to serve on the Council through two terms and is to be
commended for 'regular attendance.-being-wefl,veised;,on the agenda, a lending a youthful perspective
during the comment period.
