A Resolution of the Edmonds City Cound(Commending
Kisa Nishimoto
for9ferServke as a Student 1tresentative on the Edmonds City Councd
Whereas, Kisa 9Vishimoto, a student at Edmonds-Woodway High School, was selected to serve as a Student
Representative of the Edmonds City Councils and
Whereas, Kisa Wishimoto, served as a student member of the City Council from September 18 through
December 19, 2006; and _
Whereas, during her tenure as Student Representative, Kjsa 9Vishimoto demonstrated interest in the work of the
body while at the same time participating 4n a multitude of school activities including being a D.A.R.E.
Role Model, Senior Class president, I' adership'Student;\'EWHS Cheerleader, and International
Baccalaureate Student;--- i'
Now, 2lrerefore, (Be It Wsofveu� that Kjsa Nishii tie commended for her involvement in city government in
Edmonds during her term as Student -Representative while continuing her rigorous school schedule and
managing two jobs; and
Be It Further Resolved that the City Council and the 1Aa.- r�-hereby^extend their best wishes to Kisa in her future
endeavors and express the hopeihat shell continue to contribute her infinite talents to the democratic
process of government in the City of=Edmonds and_e{se'where.
