X1yfit Out on -August 4, 2005
Whereas, Edmonds X4ftt Out promotes neighborhood friendliness and that
neighbors knowing neighbors helps the community to work together in
crime awareness and makes Edmonds a better place to live; and
Whereas, having Edmonds police officers, firefighters, and other City staff present
helps build a partnership between the City and its citizens and seeing
friendly Edmonds police officers that are approachable promotes
cooperation between our citizens and police officers; and
Whereas, the Edmonds 9Ws fit Out event is sponsored by local Edmonds
businesses and organized by the Edmonds Police Foundation and the
event is geared to promote awareness of crime prevention and public
safety with the goal of making the Edmonds community an even better
place to live; and
Whereas, this evening will also be a time for fun and games emphasizing a family
safety event for all the people of Edmonds;
Wow, Therefm, Be It Resolved, the Mayor and City Council hereby wish to acknowledge
the efforts and endorse the Edmonds Police Foundation and the
