RESOLUTION NO. 1108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, INITIATING CONSIDERATION
OF A VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE UNBUILT RIGHT-
OF-WAY OF 8TH AVENUE SOUTH BETWEEN WALNUT AND
ALDER STREETS, AND SETTING A HEARING DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the public interest to initiate a
vacation proceeding for certain unopened right-of-way of 81h Avenue South, between Alder and
Walnut Streets, in order to address access issues relating to adjacent properties, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. In accordance with the provisions of ECDC 20.70.050(A), the City
Council hereby initiates the vacation of certain unopened right-of-way of 8th Avenue South
between Alder and Walnut Streets in the City of Edmonds. Said parcel is shown on the attached
• Exhibit A, incorporated by this reference as fully as if herein set forth.
Section 2. The City Council hereby sets a public hearing date on the vacation
proceeding for November 15, 2005, said hearing date being not less than twenty (20) days nor
more than sixty (60) days after the passage of this resolution.
