RESOLUTION NO. 1002
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, APPOINTING A BOARD OF
DIRECTORS TO THE EDMONDS PUBLIC FACILITIES
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on April 24, 2001, the City of Edmonds passed Ordinance No. 3358
creating a public facilities district to be known as the Edmonds Public Facilities District,
pursuant to the Laws of the Washington, Chapter 165, Laws of 1999, Codified as Chapter 35.57
of the Revised Code of Washington; and
WHEREAS, RCW 35.57.010 requires that a public facilities district created by a
single city shall be governed by a board of directors consisting of five members, and specifies
the criteria to be used for selecting such members and the length of their respective terms in
office; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Edmonds
Public Facilities District Board of Directors:
Terry Vehrs, for a four-year term;
John McGibbon, for a four-year term;
Kay Mahaffey, for a three-year term;
James Monroe, for a two-year term;
Jan Conner, for a one-year term.
