hereng, Community Transit wishes to apply to the Association of Washington Cities
Employee Benefit Trust to provide the employees of Community Transit with
health care benefits; and
4erras, the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Employee Benefit Trust requires
that non -city entities apply to their Board of Directors for entrance, that the non -
city entity must demonstrate that they provide 100 percent of a service which
would traditionally be provided by a city or town, that a current city member of the
Trust sponsor Community Transit's membership by adoption of a resolution
recommending membership; and
4er as, Community Transit provides 100 percent of the transit services within the benefit
area that would otherwise be provided by the cities;

recommends Community Transit to the Board of Directors of the Association of
Washington Cities (AWC) Employee Benefit Trust for entrance into the Trust..
