The Edmonds City Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Pro Tem Dave Earling in
the Council Chambers, 250 5th Avenue North, Edmonds. The meeting was opened with the flag salute.

Mayor Pro Tem Earling introduced Ian Petso, son of Councilmember Lora Petso, and invited him to sit in
the Student Representative's place, along with the other councilmembers for the evening.

4. MAYOR'S COMMENTS
Mayor Pro Tem Earling thanked Councilmembers Dawson and Wilson for attending the Puget Sound
Regional Council's workshop for newly elected officials. He wished everyone a happy holiday.
5. COUNCIL COMMENTS
Councilmember Plunkett noted his pleasure in working with all of his colleagues and staff during the last
year and he looked forward to getting back to work soon. Councilmember Wilson echoed Mr. Plunkett's
comments and wished everyone a happy holiday. Councilmember Orvis wished everyone a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year. Councilmember Dawson wished everyone a happy holiday and a
happy new year. Councilmember Marin concurred with the other members' comments.
With no further business, Mayor Pro Tern Earling adjourned the City Council meeting at 7:04 p.m.
