Resolution 960RESOLUTION NO. 960 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS AND NOTICE OF HEARING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY AT 20930 88"H AVENUE WEST (FILE NO. ST -99 -171) WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City of Edmonds signed by an owner of interest in real property representing more than two - thirds of the property abutting upon the hereinafter described portions of the utility easement on the property located at 20930 881h Avenue West. WHEREAS, it appears that the public interest of the City of Edmonds, Washington, would be served by holding a public hearing to consider the vacation of a portion of the utility easement on the property located at 20930 88th Avenue West. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Edmonds: 1) That a public hearing be held to consider whether the public interest and general welfare of the City of Edmonds will be served by the vacation of a portion of the utility easement on the property located at 20930 88th Avenue West, situated in Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, and described as follows: The north S. 00 feet of the west 81. 00 feet of the following described parcel: The south 25 feet of the north 662.47 feet of Lot 5, Block S, Alderwood Manor No. 9, except for the east 25.00 feet thereof for road, per plat as recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, Page, Records of Snohomish County, State of Washington. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to provide notice in accordance with the ordinance requirements of such hearing to the parties, notifying them of the public hearing to be held before the Edmonds City Council in its chambers in the Plaza Room of the Edmonds Public Library on October 19, 1999, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be held.
