(Where,-., in July, 1998, in honor of the 1.0Ht Anniversary of the Edmonds /Hekinan Sister. City relationship and
of the 5011 Anniversary of the City of Hekinan, a delegation from Edmonds was invited to participate
in Hekinan's celebration activities, and the warm, generous hospitality of the people of Hekinan and
the exchange of art and cultural traditions was an extraordinary experience; and
CWhereav, during October 31 - November 5, we are extremely honored to have Mayor Tal.-u Nagashima and
distinguished members of his delegation visiting Edmonds and we will share with them our rich
traditions, vibrant cultural community, and friendly citizenry.
