A RESOLUTION IO OF THE EDMONDS CITY rl COUNCIL ` HA PETRUZZI
THOMAS J.
FOR HIS SERVICE AS A COUNCILMEMBER.
WHEREAS, THOMAS J. PETRUZZI has served on the City Council from February 1992 to February, 1997,
and as Council President from January, 1995, to December, 1995;
WHEREAS, the EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL recognizes and appreciates the superlative contributions and
leadership brought to the City Council during his tenure; and
WHEREAS, COUNCIL4lEMBEE PETRUZZI admirably served, as highlighted by his efforts in protecting and
enhancing the fiscal integrity of the City of Edmonds through economically challenging times,
and being an exemplary leader in the pursuit of obtaining the Edmonds Financial Center for the
Edmonds City Hall; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Petruzzi showed great leadership in maintaining emergency medical service for
the citizens of Edmonds and South Snohomish County while serving on the Boards of Medic 7
and SnoCom; and '
WHEREAS, Councilmember Petruzzi worked diligently to maintain a positive, professional relationship with
the Mayor, fellow Councilmembers, and citizens of Edmonds while resolving challenging issues;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that THOMAS J. PETRUZZI be commended and thanked for his efforts as both
a Councilmember and President and wished well in the future pursuing his expressed desires to
spend more time with his family and friends while he explores the woods, lovely, dark, and deep.
