RESOLUTION NO. 864
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE EDMONDS
COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR AS THE APPLICANT
AGENT FOR OBTAINING FEDERAL EMERGENCY AND /OR
DISASTER ASSISTANCE FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds experienced severe winter storm damage in
December, 1996 and January 1997, and
WHEREAS, due to this winter storm damage, the City of Edmonds has qualified
for federal disaster relief, and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of said relief is contingent upon the City of Edmonds
designating an official representative as the point contact for purposes of making decisions on
behalf of the City in relation to the receipt of federal funds, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Paul Mar, Community Services Director, is hereby authorized to serve
as the agent for the City of Edmonds and to make decisions on behalf of the City of Edmonds
for all matters related and necessary for the acquisition of federal and /or emergency or disaster
assistance funds for which the City of Edmonds has become eligible due to a winter storm in
December 1996 and January, 1997.
