RESOLUTION NO. 865
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE FEES
ADOPTED PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 15.00 OF THE
EDMONDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CODE AND
RESOLUTION NO. 852 TO INCREASE FEES RELATING TO
APPLICATIONS AND PERMITS FOR BUILDING, PLUMBING
AND OTHER RELATED PERMITS AND FIXING A TIME
WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council has determined it appropriate to increase
the application and /or permit fees based upon periodic review of such fees;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the increased revenue should be utilized
to cover additional costs of processing permits to speed the permitting process and thereby
benefit the development community who will pay the increased fees; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby amends Resolution No. 852 and adopts the
attached Exhibit A, Schedule of Fees, for the various actions, permits and applications described
therein.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect for permits filed on or after March 19,
1997.
