RESOLUTION NO. 868
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
866 IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE PUBLIC HEARING DATE
FOR THE VACATION OF . THE FIRDALE AVENUE
RIGHT -OF -WAY FROM APRIL 15, 1997 TO MAY 6, 1997.
WHEREAS, on March 18, 1997, the Edmonds City Council adopted Resolution
No. 866, which was a resolution setting a date for a hearing for the vacation of a triangular
portion of Firdale Avenue right -of -way lying north of the vacated portion of the 240th Street
S.W. right -of -way; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing for the above referenced vacation was scheduled
for April 15, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds has had insufficient time to acquire certification
of the vacation petition from the County Assessor's office and also to provide notice for said
public hearing; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The April 15, 1997 public hearing date specified in Section 2 of
Edmonds Resolution 866 is hereby amended to May 6, 1997.
