WHEREAS, THOMAS J. PETRUZZI was elected by the City Council to serve as City
Council President from January, 1995, to December, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL recognizes and appreciates the superlative
leadership COUNCIL PRESIDENT PETRUZZI brought to the City Council
during his tenure; and
'WHEREAS, COUNCIL PRESIDENT PETRUZZI admirably served as Council
President, as highlighted by his efforts in protecting and enhancing the
fiscal integrity of the City of Edmonds through economically challenging
times, and being an exemplary leader in the pursuit of obtaining the
Edmonds Financial center for the Edmonds City Hall all while
maintaining a united and positive relationship with fellow
Councilmembers; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that THOMAS J. PETRUZZI be commended and
thanked for his efforts as Council President while looking forward to his
continued participation as Councilmember.
