A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS AND NOTICE OF HEARING FOR THE
VACATION OF THE EASTERN 5 -FEET OF THE 80TH AVENUE WEST RIGHT -OF -WAY
ADJACENT TO 19525 80TH AVENUE WEST, (FILE NO. ST -95 -179).
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City of Edmonds signed by an owner of
interest in real property representing more than two - thirds of the property abutting upon the
hereinafter described portions of 80th Avenue West.
WHEREAS, it appears that the public interest of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
would be served by holding a public hearing to consider the vacation of said portion of 80th
Avenue West.
WHEREAS, the petition for vacation has been certified by the City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Edmonds:
1) That a public hearing be held to consider whether the public interest and general
welfare of the City of Edmonds will be served by the vacation of the eastern 5 -feet of 80th
Avenue West adjacent to the 19525 80th Avenue West, situate in Edmonds, Snohomish County,
Washington, and described as follows:
BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 7 IN THE PLAT OF
LAWRENCE ADDITION, THENCE WEST 5.00 FEET ALONG BEARING
N89 °00'36 "W, THENCE SOUTHERLY 100.10 ALONG BEARING NO-45'50"E,
THENCE EASTERLY 5.00 FEET ALONG BEARING N89 000'36 "W, THENCE
NORTHERLY ALONG BEARING N0045'5 0"E TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
2) The City Clerk is hererby directed to provide notice in accordance with the
ordinance requirements of such hearing to the parties, notifying them of the public hearing to be
held before the Edmonds City Council in its chambers in the Plaza Room of the Edmonds Public
Library on February 20, 1996, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be held.
