RESOLUTION NO. 820
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, CALLING FOR AN ELECTION
PURSUANT TO RCW 35A.14.050(3) FOR THE GATE /EATON
ANNEXATION AND SNOLINE /FORSHEE ANNEXATIONS,
AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 801 AND 802 TO CLARIFY
THAT ASSUMPTION OF BONDED INDEBTEDNESS IS NOT
REQUIRED AND REQUEST THAT THE ELECTION BE HELD
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SEPTEMBER PRIMARY
ELECTION.
WHEREAS, by Resolution Nos. 801 and 802 the City Council of the City of
Edmonds has previously called for the annexation of the Gate /Eaton annexation and
Snoline /Foreshee annexation areas, and
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds currently has no bonded indebtedness and in
order to clarify the assumption of bonded indebtedness is not required and hereby amends
Resolution Nos. 801 and 802, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Edmonds respectfully requests that
the Snohomish County Auditor conduct an election on the annexation of the Gate /Eaton
annexation and Snoline /Forshee annexation areas as set forth in Resolution Nos. 801 and 802
in conjunction with the September 1995 primary election.

Section 2. By way of amendment and clarification Resolution Nos. 801 and 802
are hereby amended and clarified to specify that the City of Edmonds has no bonded
indebtedness and therefore the annexation ballot question should not include any reference to the
assumption of bonded indebtedness.
