A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF -THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AND NOTICE OF HEARING FOR THE VACATION OF A - PORTION
OF THE 75TH PLACE WEST RIGHT -OF -WAY ADJACENT TO 15706 AND 15714
75TH PLACE WEST, (FILE NO. ST -93 -131).
WHEREAS, on March 23rd, 1993, the City Council authorized the
return of the hereinafter described portions of the 75th Place
West right -of -way, and initiated the vacation process; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the public interest of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, would be served by holding a public hearing
to consider the vacation of said portion of 75th Place West; now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing be held to consider whether the
public interest and general welfare of the City of Edmonds will
be served by the vacation of the - portion of the 75th Place West
right -of -way abutting 15706 and 15714 75th Place West, situate in
Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, and described as follows:
The East ten (10) feet of the North forty -five (45) feet of
Lot 5, Block 28, of the Plat of Meadowdale Beach, Volume 5,
Page 38, Snohomish County, Washington, together with a
portion of the vacated 75th Avenue West lying adjacent.
Together with the East ten (10) feet of the South fifteen
_ (15 ) feet of Lot 5, and the East ten (10 ) feet of the North
thirty (30) feet of Lot 6, Block 28, of the Plat of
Meadowdale Beach, Volume 5, page 38, Snohomish County,
Washington, together with a portion of vacated 75th Avenue
West lying adjacent.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND NOTICE OF HEARING:
Section 2. Said public hearing will be held before the
Edmonds City Council in its chambers in the Plaza Room of the
Edmonds Public Library on September 7th, 1993, at 7:00 p.m. The
City Clerk is hereby directed to provide notice of said meeting
in accordance with ordinance requirements.
