A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF -THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AND NOTICE OF HEARING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION
OF THE 75TH PLACE WEST RIGHT -OF -WAY ADJACENT TO 15706 AND 15714
75TH PLACE WEST, (FILE NO. ST -93 -131).
WHEREAS, on March 23rd, 1993, the City Council authorized the
return of the hereinafter described portions of the 75th Place
West right -of -way, and initiated the vacation process; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the public interest of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, would be served by holding a public hearing
to consider the vacation of said portion of 75th Place West;. now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing be held to consider whether the
public interest and general welfare of the City of Edmonds will
be served by the vacation of the portion of the 75th Place West
right -of -way abutting 15706 and 15714 75th Place West, situate in
Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, and described as follows:
The East ten '(10) ;feet of the North forty -five (45) feet of
Lot 5, Block 28, of the Plat of Meadowdale.Beach, Volume 5,
Page 38, Snohomish County, Washington, together with a
portion of the vacated 75th Avenue West lying adjacent.
Together with the East ten
(15 ) f eet of Lot 5, and the.
.thirty (30) feet of Lot.
Meadowdale Beach, Volume.
Washington, together with a
West lying adjacent.
(10 ) feet of the South fifteen
East ten (10) feet of the North
6, Block 28, of the Plat of
5, page 38, Snohomish County,
portion of vacated 75th Avenue
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND NOTICE OF HEARING:
Section 2. Said public hearing will be held before the
Edmonds City Council in its chambers in the Plaza Room of the
Edmonds Public Library on September , 1993, at 7:00 p.m. The
City Clerk is. hereby directed to provide notice of said meeting
in accordance with ordinance requirements.
