A RESOLUTION OF THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
COMMENDING JEFF PALMER FOR
HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, JEFF PALMER, admirably served as Councilmember from January, 1990
through December, 1993; and JEFF PALMER'S integrity and high work
ethics were appreciated and relied upon both by Edmonds City
Councilmembers and the citizens of Edmonds; and
WHEREAS, JEFF PALMER always did his "homework" and was thoroughly prepared
on any given subject, and strived for the best, while challenging
others to do the same; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Edmonds have been well served by JEFF PALMER'S
leadership in many areas including his commitment to fiscal
responsibility, and knowing the important issues of the day in
order to better serve the City of Edmonds. JEFF PALMER played a
vital role in the City's acquisition of the property now known as
"Brackett's Landing South ", as well as giving his full support to
the new Public Works site in order to better serve the City; and
WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council wants to thank JEFF PALMER for serving as
Council President two times during his term in office, as well as
his time spent on the Edmonds Historical Society, the Cultural
Arts and Convention Board, and his former work as Planning Board
member and Chairman of the Planning Board on two separate
occasions.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Edmonds City Council hereby resolves that JEFF PALMER
be commended for his efforts and his many contributions to the progress of
city government in Edmonds during his term as Councilmember.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 14th day of December, 1993.
