A RESOLUTION OF THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
COMMENDING BRETT SHIRLEY FOR HIS SERVICE AS
A STUDENT MEMBER OF THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, BRETT SHIRLEY, a student at Edmonds - Woodway High School, was
selected to serve as a student member of the Edmonds City Council;
and
- WHEREAS, BRETT SHIRLEY, served as a student member of the City Council from
January 7, 1992 to March 17, 1992 and WHEREAS., during his tenure
as student Councilmember, BRETT SHIRLEY, demonstrated exemplary
dedication and diligence in the work of this body;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Edmonds City Council hereby resolves that BRETT SHIRLEY
be commended for his participation in city government in Edmonds
during his term in office and thanks him for his keen interest in
City business;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the City Council and the Mayor hereby extend their
best wishes to BRETT in his studies and future career and express
the hope that he will continue to contribute his fine talents to
the democratic process of government in the City of Edmonds and
elsewhere.
