A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS AND NOTICE OF•HEARING FOR THE
VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE 174TH STREET SOUTHWEST RIGHT -OF -WAY
LYING WEST OF MEADOWDALE BEACH ROAD, (FILE NO. ST -92 -100).
WHEREAS,, the City Council for the City of Edmonds passed
Resolution No. 744 on April 28th, 1992, initiating the street
vacation process pursuant to Edmonds Community Development Code
Section 20.70.010 for the hereinafter described portions of the
174th Street southwest right -of -way lying west of Meadowdale
Beach Road.
WHEREAS, it appears that the public interest of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, would be served by holding a public hearing
to consider the vacation of said portion of the 174th Street
southwest right -of -way lying west of Meadowdale Beach Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Edmonds:
1) That a public hearing be held to consider whether the
public interest and general welfare of the City of Edmonds will
be served by the vacation of the 174th Street southwest right -of-
way lying west of Meadowdale Beach Road, situate in Edmonds,
Snohomish County, Washington, and described as being south of and
immediately adjacent to 6830 Meadowdale Beach Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND NOTICE OF HEARING:
2) That said public hearing will be held before the Edmonds
City Council in its chambers in the Plaza Room of the Edmonds
Public Library on July 7th, 1992, at 7:00 P.M.
PASSED by majority vote of the Edmonds City Council in
regular, open meeting on the 2nd day of June ,
1992
