RESOLUTION NO. 714
A RESOLUTION OF THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
COMMENDING BOBBY MILLS
WHEREAS Bobby Mills was hired August 5, 1963 as a Skilled Street :Worker, promoted to Street
Foreman in 1969, promoted to Street Supervisor in 1981, and promoted to Public
Works Superintendent in 1983; and -
WHEREAS During his employment, the City has seen extensive growth in the infrastructure of the
community, including two major reconstructions of the City's wastewater treatment
plant; and
WHEREAS Bobby Mills has been a tireless worker and community member and has shown great
dedication to both employees and citizens; and
WHEREAS Bobby Mills retires from the City of Edmonds with enormous good will and a list of
many accomplishments.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Bobby Mills, Public Works Superintendent for the City
of Edmonds, is hereby publicly commended and thanked on behalf of the citizens of
Edmonds for his long and distinguished service. -
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and: City Council hereby extend their best wishes`to
Bobby and his wife, Claudia, for success and happiness in all their future endeavors.
