A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JACQUELINE PARRETT
WHEREAS, Jackie Parrett was hired April 15, 1976 as Deputy City Clerk, and was
promoted to the office of City Clerk in 1984; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Parrett has been an active member of the Municipal City Clerk's
Association and achieved her professional certification from the Clerk's
Association in July 1987; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Parrett has consistently brought a high degree of professionalism
to her office and to her work with the other City staff; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Parrett carried out her public duties with the good of the citizens
of Edmonds always foremost in her mind;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Jackie Parrett, City Clerk for the City
of Edmonds, is hereby publicly commended and thanked on behalf of the
citizens of Edmonds for her long and distinguished service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council hereby extend their
best wishes to Jackie for success and happiness in all her future
endeavors.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 1st day of October, 1991.
