RESOLUTION NO. 723
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, ALLOCATING THE FINAL
COST OF ACQUISITION, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION OF
THE NEW PUBLIC WORKS OPERATION FACILITY ALONG
WITH REQUIRED OFF -SITE IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN THE
GENERAL FUND, STREET FUND AND COMBINED UTILITY.
WHEREAS, the City is in the process of acquiring and
constructing a public works facility which will be used by the
staff of the City for a variety of purposes which benefit a
variety of public funds and utilities;
WHEREAS, certain funds of the City such as the street
fund and the combined utility fund are restricted for use for
limited purposes as specified by state statute;
WHEREAS, the proposed new public works site will
benefit not only the general fund but also such restricted funds;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council on March 5, 1991 approved in
principal an allocation between such funds based upon a variety
of factors including but not limited to allocation of space by
fund, site space allocation and cost allocation by a space amount
in use;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The final total cost of acquiring and
constructing a new public works operation facility, including,
WSS53628R -1-
but not limited to, land acquisition, design, site work, off -site
improvements and construction shall be allocated in the following
fashion:
General Fund 21.35%
Street Fund 24.43%
Combined Utility Fund 54.22%
These costs have been allocated on the basis of a model, the
assumptions and calculations relating to said model are hereby
attached on Exhibit A and incorporated by this reference as fully
as if herein set forth.
