of Governments. Such volunteer activities are not a part of the
job duties of the affected individuals, and the Council permits
City employees to participate in the activities of the PSCOG so
long as, but only so long as, the provision of their services to
the Puget Sound Council of Governments is acknowledged by the
PSCOG to be, volunteer services and not as participation by a
representative of the City of Edmonds.
Similarly, members of the City Council through their
service on other regional governmental entities such as Snohomish
County Transit, may from time to time be appointed as
representatives of the other regional entity to the PSCOG. The
Council specifically permits its members to so participate
providing that the Puget Sound Council of Governments provides
written acknowledgment that the Councilmember is appearing as a
representative of the other regional entity and not of the City
of Edmonds.
