A RESOLUTION OF THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
COMMENDING KAREN ABRAMS FOR HER SERVICE AS
A STUDENT MEMBER OF THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, KAREN ABRAMS, a student at Meadowdale High School, was selected to
serve as a student member of the Edmonds City Council; and
WHEREAS, KAREN ABRAMS, served as a student member of the City Council from
September, 1988 to December, 1988 and WHEREAS, during her tenure
as student Councilmember, KAREN ABRAMS, demonstrated exemplary
dedication and diligence in the work of this body;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Edmonds City Council hereby resolves that KAREN ABRAMS
be commended for her participation in city government in
Edmonds during her term in office.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the City Council and the Mayor hereby extend their
best wishes to KAREN in her-studies and future. career and
express the hope that she will continue to contribute her fine
talents to the democratic process.of government in the City of
Edmonds and elsewhere.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of January 1989.
