A RESOLUTION OF THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
COMMEMORATING THE SOUTH COUNTY SENIOR CENTER
FOR 25 YEARS OF'SERVICE IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY
WHEREAS, THE SOUTH:- COUNTY SENIOR CENTER, is a senior services center
located in Edmonds, Washington; and
WHEREAS, THE SOUTH COUNTY SENIOR CENTER is celebrating its 25th- anniversary
; on .May 19, 1989, as a center where older citizens can• meet:;wi th
` one another, receive services, and participate in activities.,,
'promoting their self- esteem and encouraging personal independence;
NOW THEREFORE, the Edmonds City Council hereby resolves that THE SOUTH
COUNTY SENIOR CENTER be highly commended for its cgntributiorr'�'
to the needs and concerns of senior citizens in the City of;
Edmonds and Snohomish County.. °
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the City Council and the Mayor hereby extend their
appreciation and thanks to THE SOUTH COUNTY SENIOR CENTER.--_.
for its 25 years of service along_with best wishes and continued
support in the future. n
