RESOLUTION NO. 677
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A SIX -YEAR
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND DIRECTING
THE SAME TO BE FILED WITH THE STATE SECRETARY OF
TRANSPORTATION AND THE URBAN ARTERIAL BOARD.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Chapters 35.77
and 47.26 RCW, as amended, the.City.Council of the City of Edmonds
has previously` adopted a. Comprehensive Street Program, including
an arterial street construction program, and thereafter
periodically modified said Comprehensive Street Program by
resolution, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the work
accomplished under the said Program, determined current and future
City., street- and arterial needs, and based upon these findings has
prepared a Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program for the
ensuing six (6) calendar years, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held on the said Six -
Year Transportation Improvement Program, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will be _no
significant adverse environmental impacts as a result of adoption
or implementation of the Six -Year Transportation Improvement
Program, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Program Adopted. The Six -Year Transportation
Improvement Program for the City of Edmonds, as revised and

extended fot the' ensuing six .(6) calendar, years- (1989- 1994,
inclusive) , a copy of which is attached heret -o as Exhibit A and
incorpo:r.atedl,'herein by this reference as if fully: set .fo:xtb".,., w:r,:idh;:;. ;.
Program -sets forth' the project location, type of improvement an,d...;..
the estimated cost thereof, is hereby adopted and approved.
Section 2. Filing of Program. Pursuant to RCW Chapter.
35.77, the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a.
copy of this resolution forthwith, together, with- the... Exhibit:,
attached hereto, with the Secretary of Transportation and a copy
with the Urban Arterial Board for the State of Washington.
