RESOLUTION NO. 636
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, REPEALING RESOLUTION 486
DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS
TO IMPROVE 88TH AVENUE WEST, BETWEEN MAIN
STREET AND 204TH STREET SOUTH WEST BY MEANS OF
A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, AND CANCELING A
HEARING ON SAID IMPROVEMENT SET FOR MARCH 4,1986.
WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council has enacted
Resolution No. 634 declaring the City's intention to improve 88th
Avenue West through the formation of a Local Improvement District
to fund said improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, without limitation on the
future exercises of its powers, desires to rescind said statement
of intention and to cancel the hearing previously set, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Resolution 634, declaring the City's
intention to improve 88th Avenue West between Main Street and
204th Street South West be in is hereby repealed. This repeal
shall in no way limit the statutory power of the City of Edmonds
to initiate future Local Improvement Districts with respect to
88th Avenue West.
Section 2. The hearing previously established for
March 4, 1986, at 7:00 p.m. is hereby canceled.
