Resolution 612�A LCI:jt 2/14/84 M RESOLUTION NO. .612 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHING- TON, DECLARING THE COMPLETION OF CERTAIN SIDE- WALK IMPROVEMENTS ORDERED BY CITY OF EDMONDS ORDINANCE NO. 2207, AND ABOLISHING THE SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION FUND NO. 81 -1 CREATED BY SUCH ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 488, passed by the City Council on February 17, 1981, the City Council of the City of Edmonds declared its intention to improve certain sidewalks in the City, and WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2207, passed by the City Council on April 28, 1981, the City Council ordered such improvements to be performed by the abutting land owner at the owner's expense, and created Sidewalk Construction Fund No. 81 -1 to deposit amounts assessed against said property and to issue warrants for the costs and expenses in connection with said improvements, and WHEREAS, all improvements ordered were performed by the abutting property owners at their expense, or by the City at the owner's request with subsequent reimbursal to the City, and WHEREAS, due to the abutting property owners- voluntary compliance there was no need for the City to complete the improvements and assess the subject property, and thus no need to transfer funds into, or out of Sidewalk Construction Fund No. 81 -1, now, therefore, f � _ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The purposes of City of Edmonds Resolution No. 488 and Ordinance No. 2207 having been satisfied, all such sidewalk improvements ordered are hereby declared complete, and no property which was the subject of said resolution and ordinance is deemed encumbered in any way. Section 2.
