Resolution 626WSS /naa 09/05/85 RESOLUTION NO. 626 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS FOR THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF SATELLITE TELEVISION ANTENNAS TO OCTOBER 10, 1985. WHEREAS, after public hearing the City Council determined it to be in the public interest to establish a moratorium on the erection, construction and maintenance of satellite television antennas, and WHEREAS, the length of the moratorium was established based upon the length of time necessary to provide for adequate public input and review of the.regulation of satellite television antennas by its Planning Board and the City Council, and WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Board has completed and made its recommendations to the City Council, but the City Council has not yet had an opportunity to hold a public hearing regarding said regulations, and WHEREAS, the earliest available date for'such a hearing is October 1st, 1985, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the moratorium established on the issuance of Building Permits for satellite television antennas be and is hereby extended to October 10, 1985 in order to permit the City Council -to review satellite and television antenna A regulation provisions forwarded by its Planning Advisory Board.
