A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION HONORING GORDON MAXWELL
WHEREAS, The quality of life in any City is related to the many
contributions of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, On December 31, 1985, Commissioner Gordon Maxwell
completed 12 years of service as a Port Commissioner of
the Port of Edmonds, and prior to that served his commu-
nity as Mayor of the City of Edmonds and as a Member of
the Edmonds City Council, and has been a member of
numerous committees, boards, commissions and other
civic organizations; and
.WHEREAS, The City of Edmonds wishes to recognize Mr. Maxwell's
many years of public service and his obvious pride and
sense of civic responsibility,
NOW THEREFORE, the City of Edmonds expresses its appreciation .
and gratitude to Gordon Maxwell for the many years of
unselfish service given to his fellow citizens, and
hereby publicly commends him and thanks him for his
many contributions.
