RESOLUTION NO. 582
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, INITIATING THE VACATION OF A STREET
RIGHT-OF -WAY LOCATED ON CERTAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF EDMONDS AND SETTING A
HEARING DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, proposes to vacate certain property for street
purposes, located in the City of Edmonds, County of Snoho-
mish, State of Washington, being a portion of street right-
of-way located on the east side of 12th Avenue, south of
Puget Drive, more particularly described as set forth on
Exhibits A and B, attached hereto and incorporated by this
reference herein as if set forth in full, and
WHEREAS, Section 20.70.020A of the Edmonds Community
Development Code requires review by the Hearing Examiner on
such now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES:
That certain property dedicated for street purposes,
located in the City of Edmonds, Washington, and being a por-
tion of right -of -way located on the east side of 12th Avenue,
south of Puget Drive, more particularly described as set
forth on Exhibits A and B attached hereto and incorporated by
this reference, be vacated by proceedings initiated by this
resolution pursuant to RCW 35.79.010 and Chapter 20.70 of the
Community Development Code, and that this proposal be
referred to the Hearing Examiner for review.
RESOLVED this 20th day of March , 1984.

EXHIBIT A
That portion of 12th Avenue right -of -way, lying Easterly of the
following described lines:
Beginning at a concrete monument that is the Northeast corner of
Tract 25 of Viewland Heights, according to the plat thereof
recorded in Volume 13 of Plats, page 84 of records of Snohomish
County;
Thence North 89 053158" West, along the Northerly boundary of said
Tract 25, and Tracts 24 and 23 of said Plat of Viewland Heights,
for 604.33 feet to a concrete monument;
Thence North 0 056100" West for 50.00 feet; thence North 89 °53'58"
West for 47.53 feet to the Easterly right -of -way boundary for 12th
Avenue North and the true point of beginning for this description;
Thence North 8 037'56" East, along said Easterly right -of -way
boundary for 170 feet, more or less, to a point that is 15 feet
South of the Southerly right -of -way of Puget Drive;
Thence Northeasterly to the Northwest corner of the Westerly 275
feet of the Easterly 605 feet of Tract 25 of the Plat of Puget
Sound Machinery Depot Five Acre Tracts, according to the plat
thereof on file at the office of the Snohomish County Auditor.
Said Northwest corner is the terminus of this legal description.
The CITY reserves the right to make necessary cuts and fills
required, as well as an easement for utilities over the a
forementioned property.
