RESOLUTION NO. 594--
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE
VACATION OF RIGHT -OF -WAY ALONG 12TH AVENUE
NORTH FOR SEPTEMBER 4, 1984.
WHEREAS, Chapter 20.70 of the Edmonds Community
Development Code establishes a procedure for the consideration
by the City Council of the vacation of right -of -way within the
City, and
WHEREAS, the City has undertaken such a procedure with
reference to the easterly portion of 12th Avenue North lying
between Puget Drive and Viewland Drive in the City of Edmonds,
Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is obligated to conduct a
hearing upon that vacation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds has
by Resolution No. 582 initiated said street vacation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is in receipt of the Hearing
Commissioner's report with regard to such vacation and is
ready now to proceed to public hearing, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Sec-ion-l. That a public hearing regarding the vaca-
tion of the easterly portion of 12th Avenue North lying
between Puget Drive and Viewland Drive be and is hereby set
for public hearing at the City Council meeting of September 4,
1984.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to post public notice pursuant to Chapter 20.70 and in accor-
dance to Chapter 1.03 of the City Code at least 20 days prior
to said hearing.
