RESOLUTION NO. 605
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING THE VACATION OF UNIMPROVED RIGHT OF WAY OF
104TH AVENUE WEST FOR NOVEMBER 5, 1984.
WHEREAS, Chapter 20.70 of the Edmonds Community Develop-
ment Code establishes a procedure for the consideration by the
City Council of the vacation of right of way within the City, and
WHEREAS, the City has undertaken such a procedure with
reference to the unimproved right of way of 104th Avenue West
lying south of 228th Street S.W. and east of the Sherwood
Elementary School in the City of Edmonds, Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is obligated to conduct a
hearing upon that vacation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds is in
receipt of a petition initiating such vacation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is in receipt of the Hearing
Examiner's report with regard to such vacation and is ready now
to proceed to public hearing, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a public hearing regarding the vacation
of the unimproved right of way of 104th Avenue West south of
228th Street S.W., and lying east of Sherwood Elementary School
as shown in File No. ST -3 -84 of the Planning Department, be and
is hereby set for public hearing at the City Council meeting of
November 5, 1984.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
post public notice pursuant to Chapter 20.70 and in accordance
with Chapter 1.03 of the City Code at least 20 days prior to said
hearing.
