RESOLUTION NO. 611
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
APPROVING A LOAN OF $11,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND
OPERATING BUDGET TO THE CEMETERY BOARD, FUND NO. 130
UNDER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREIN SPECIFIED.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds deems
it in the public interest to provide funds in the sum of $11,000
to its Cemetery Board for the purpose of advancing operating
revenues and
WHEREAS, the Cemetery Board through its operations of
the Edmonds cemetery is an enterprise which produces revenue in
the form of fees, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of $11,000 is hereby transferred
from the General Fund Operating, Cash Fund No. 001 to the
Cemetery Board Fund, Fund No. 130.
Section -.2. Said transfer shall be in the form of a loan
for a two -year period. This loan shall be interest free and the
term of the loan shall be from the date of this resolution to
the 31st day of December, 1986.
Section•3. The Finance Director is hereby directed to
monitor said fund and to report to the Council in the event of
default or projected default. It is the intention of the coun-

cil that this loan shall be repaid from revenues created from
the sale of lots and the operations of the Edmonds cemetery.
