RESOLUTION NO. 542
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, SETTING A HEARING DATE
TO CONSIDER ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS, FILE NO. AX -1 -82.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds is considering the
annexation of certain property located in the vicinity of
102nd Place West, State Route 104, 100th Avenue West and the
Woodway Senior High School otherwise known as the Westgate
area, and
WHEREAS, a petition signed by the owners of property
representing seventy -five percent (750) of the value of the
total area to be annexed has been filed with the City Clerk,
and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has certified that the sig-
natures on the petition are sufficient, and
WHEREAS, state law requires a public hearing on such
annexation and that the City Council set the date for such
hearing, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES THAT Tuesday, the 15th day of February, 1983,
at the hour of 7:30 PM at the Plaza Meeting Room of the
Public Library Building, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed
as the time and place for the hearing and determination by
the City Council of said petition.
