RESOLUTION NO. 552
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING THE AMOUNT OF
$12,287.00 FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FUND
NO. 119 TO THE GENERAL FUND NO. 001, DEPARTMENT
NO. 230 FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING SALARY
INCREASES FOR EXEMPT AND NONREPRESENTED,
NONEXEMPT PERSONNEL.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Edmonds
finds that adjustments need to be made in exempt personnel
salaries as well as nonrepresented, nonexempt personnel
salaries and that these expenditures could not reasonably
have been foreseen at the time of passage of the 1983 budget,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of $12,287.00 is hereby
transferred from the Council Contingency Fund No. 119 to the
General Fund No. 001, Department No. 230 for the purpose of
funding the salary increases set forth in the Mayor's
memorandum of March 17, 1983.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized
to take all necessary steps in order to effectuate the
transfer pursuant to this resolution, including additional
line item transfers to other departments within the General
Fund.
