RESOLUTION NO. 568
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING THE
AMOUNT OF $21,995.00 FROM THE COUNCIL
CONTINGENCY FUND NO. 1 _f9 TO THE GENERAL FUND
NO. 001, DEPARTMENT NO. 620 FOR THE PURPOSE
OF FUNDING A TEMPORARY PUBLIC SERVICE PROJECT
AND CERTAIN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
enacted Ordinance No. 2343 on January 4, 1983, authorizing
creation of a public service project program, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized that capital
improvements be made to the Civic Center grandstand roof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that expenditures of
these funds will be in the best interest of the public
health, safety and general welfare and that these expendi-
tures could not reasonably have been foreseen at the time of
passage of the 1983 budget, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of $21,995.00 is hereby
transferred from the Council Contingency Fund No. 119 to the
General Fund No. 001, Department No. 620 for the purpose of
the Civic Center field and grandstand reroofing project with
$4,000.00 funding the use of the public service project labor
on this project and $17,995.00 funding capital improvements.

` Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized
to take all necessary steps in order to effectuate the
transfer pursuant to this resolution.
