RESOLUTION NO. 535
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, SETTING A HEARING DATE
TO CONSIDER A STREET VACATION.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by the owners of more
than two - thirds of the property abutting upon property
dedicated for street purposes located in the City of Edmonds,
Washington, being a portion of right -of -way located on
Caspers Street between Second Avenue North and Burlington
Northern Railroad right -of -way, and more particularly
described as set forth on Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and
incorporated in full by this reference, was filed with the
City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for the vacation of the
above described property who has returned a certification of
sufficiency, and which has been reviewed in public hearing by
the Edmonds Hearing Examiner, and
WHEREAS; State law requires a public hearing on such
proposal and that the date of such hearing be set by
resolution, now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES that Tuesday, the 7th day of December, 1982,
at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the
Library Plaza Meeting Room
Edmonds; Washington, shall be fixed as the time and place for

the hearing and determination by the City Council of said
petition.

That portion of Government Lot 1, Section 24, Town-
ship 27 North, Range 3 East W.M., described as follows:
Beginning a8 the southeast corner of said Government Lot 1;
thence N 89 20'00" W. along the south line og said Government
Lot 1., a distance of 981.70 feet; thence N 0 03100" E, a dis-
tance of 15.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning of this
description; thence continuing N 0 °03'00" E, a distance of
15.00 feet; thence N 89020'00" W, parallel with the south
line of said Government Lot 1, to an intersection with a line
drawn parallel with and 37.50 feet southeasterly from the
centerline of the main track of the Burlington Northern
(former Great Northern) Railroad; thence S 29 41100" W, along
said parallel line, to an intersection with a line drawn par-
allel with and lying 15.00 felt north of the south line of
Government Lot 1; thence.S 89 20100" E, along said parallel
line, to the True Point of Beginning.
