A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, SETTING A HEARING DATE TO
CONSIDER. VACATION OF RIGHT -OF- WAY.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by the owners of more
than two- thirds of the property abutting upon property dedi-
cated for street purposes, located in the City of Edmonds,
Washington, being a portion of 4th Avenue S., north of
State Route 104, and more particularly described on Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and incorporated in full by this re-
ference, was filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Edmonds.for the vacation of the above described property and
who has returned a certification of sufficiency, and
WHEREAS, the State law requires a hearing on such
petition and that the date of such hearing must be fixed by
Resolution of the City Council, now, therefore,
THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHING-
TON, HEREBY RESOLVES that Tuesday, the 3rd day of June ;.
t1980�,at the hour of 8:00 p.m. at the Edmonds Civic Center,
Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and place
for the hearing and determination by the City Council of
said petition.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR PORTION OF
4TH AVENUE S. TO BE.VACATED
That portion of the right of way for 4th Avenue South lying. between
Lot 8, Block 1 and Lot 8, Block 2, all in South Park Addition to
Edmonds,-according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 8 of Plats,
on page 13, records of Snohomish County, Washington, more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 89
Block 1, said plat of South Park Addition to Edmonds; thence
S 1 °01'00" W, along the west line of Lot 8, Block 1, said plat of
South Park Addition to Edmonds, said west line being coincidental
with the east margin of 4th Avenue South, a distance of 59.91 feet
to an intersection with the north margin of SR -104; thence
N 50 043'56" W, along the north margin of SR -104, a distance of
76.40 feet to an intersection with the east line of Lot 8, Block'2,
said plat of South Park Addition to Edmonds, said east line being
coincidental with the west margin of 4th Avenue South; thence
N 1 °01'00" E, along the east line,of Lot 8, Block 2, said plat -
of South Park Addition to Edmonds, and the west margin of 4th
Avenue South, a distance of 12.82 feet to an intersection with
a curve having a radius of 45.00 feet, from which intersection
the radius point of said curve bears N 43 °01152" E, said inter-
section being the northeast corner of Lot 8, Block 2, said plat
of South Park Addition to Edmonds; thence easterly, along the
arc of said curve, being a curve to the left and consuming a
central angle of 83 °37114 ", an arc distance of 65.68 feet to the
point of beginning.
