RESOLUTION NO. 474
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, INITIATING
PROCEEDINGS TO VACATE CERTAIN PROPERTY
PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED FOR STREET PURPOSES
AND SETTING A HEARING DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to RCW 35.79.010, the City
Council of the City of Edmonds hereby initiates proceedings
to vacate certain property previously dedicated for street
purposes, being a portion of 8th Avenue between Aloha and
Daley Streets in Edmonds, Washington, and more fully de-
scribed as set forth on Exhibits "A" and "B ", attached
hereto and incorporated by this reference as if set forth in
full.
Section 2. The Planning Commission is directed
to conduct a public hearing on the proposed vacation and
make its recommendation to the Council prior to the hearing
date set herein.
Section 3. On the 14 day of October , 1980,
at 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard, the City Council will conduct a public hearing in
the Council Chambers, Edmonds Civic Center, on the proposed
vacation. The City Clerk is instructed to post the required

notices of this hearing and to mail the required notices
to all owners or reputed owners of property abutting upon
the street proposed to be vacated in the manner specified
by law.

All subject to easement for public utilities and subject to
